Wide selection of music classes
Wide selection of music classes for babies, toddlers, and school age. Instructors vary, some are phenomenal and others are so-so, but never entered a class my kids didn't like. On the expensive side.
I cannot recommend We Joy Sing highly enough. In fact, I wish my children were toddlers again so we could attend weekly music classes! All three of my children began with Heart Strings, and completing the program with all three levels of Music and Me. They went to classes mainly in Reynoldsburg, with Mrs. Jo Kirk as their primary teacher and one year with Mrs. Lynnette Kline. Both teachers are fabulous! My oldest began classes with Mrs. Jo when he was 15 months old. As a new mom facing lots of new challenges, going to music class was one of the things I knew I was doing right! My next child began at 12 months, and my "baby" started at 3 months. She is now 12, and has continued a friendship with another student who also began these music classes as an infant, even though they live 30 miles apart! When my children attended the Music and Me classes, I kept thinking, “I wish I had been taught music that way!” The way that they learned about the different music notes, beats, measures, etc., made so much sense. I took piano lessons for over 10 years as a child, but learned from watching my children in class. The most fascinating thing to me was that the teacher would give the students a pitch, and then only using the hand signs (solfege), they could perfectly sing whatever she would show them with her hand. Amazing! I think classes at We Joy Sing were a wonderful investment –- I recommend them wholeheartedly! • • • I cannot recommend We Joy Sing highly enough.
